Chapter 1: Shiva’s Will

3 months.

3 months and 11 days ,Adidev still couldn't forget that night.

And he definitely couldn't forget his Noor.

The boy he saw under that streetlight.

That soft nature. That soft smile when he was feeding the kid.

Adidev had never noticed anyone like that before. Or maybe he never let himself notice.

Adidev is a devotee of Bhagwan Shiv.

Every morning he does jal abhishek at his home mandir. He believes in prem. In bhagya.

Jo hoga, Bhagwan ki ichha se hoga.

That’s why he never tried to find that boy.

Reyansh threw a file on Adidev’s desk that morning.

Reyansh: Bhai, 3 mahine ho gaye. CCTV footage nikalwaun? 2 din mein naam, ghar, sab mil jayega.

Adidev didn't even look up from his laptop.

Adidev: Nahi.

Reyansh: Kyun nahi? Itna sochta hai uske baare mein.

Adidev finally met his eyes. His voice was low, certain.

Adidev: Kyunki wo milenge. Jab Mahadev chahenge, tab milenge. Main zabardasti nahi karunga.

Truth was, Adidev could find him. 10 minutes. That’s all Rathore Industries would need.

But he wasn't a stalker.

Wo bina permission ke apne Noor ke baare mein jaanna nahi chahte.

At night, Adidev stood by his floor-to-ceiling window. 32nd floor. This is his hideout away from home from chaos ,Delhi looked small from here.

His fingers tapped the glass once. Twice.

Itni raat ko apko bahar nahi ghumna chaiye. Noor. Wo bhi akele.

The words had lived in his head for 3 months.

Possessive? Yes.

But patient too.

Just then his phone rang and he came out of his thoughts.MAA 💕

He picked up.

Maa: Dev? Ghar kyun nahi aaye abhi tak? Pata hai na Aapko... aap jab tak ghar nahi aate, hume neend nahi aati hai beta .

Adidev let out a soft, rare smile. That tired CEO mask slipped for 2 seconds.

Adidev: Haan maa, aa rahe hain hum. Bas nikal rahe hain abhi.

Maa: Jaldi aana. Khana garam karwa dete hain.

Adidev: Ji maa.

Call cut.

He grabbed his keys, his black coat. The apartment went dark behind him.

In the car, alone. Night roads of Delhi. Driver seat par sirf wo.

No music. No calls.

He looked up at the sky through the sunroof for a second and whispered.

Adidev: Mahadev... bas ek baar. Unhe jaldi mila dijiye. Hamara Noor.

His voice was low. Not desperate. Just certain. Like a prayer and a promise at the same time.

15 minutes later he was home. Rathore mansion. Lights on. Maa at the door.

And somewhere in the city... under a different streetlight... his Noor was walking.
